What is Scotland Missions?
Scotland Missions is the international missionary outreach of Christopher and Jennifer Lawson.

Scotland Missions was started just previous to our move to the United Kingdom in January of 2003. We have been using this website as a means to communicate with our supporters from 2004 until present.

In March of 2007 we moved back to the United States. We are currently serving the Lord in Cambria, on California's beautiful Central Coast. At the present time we are establishing a Bible teaching apologetics ministry with an emphasis on equipping churches and individual believers. And, through our SRN website we are helping missionaries in the field who need Christian apologetic/discernment materials.

We are also in the beginning stages of establishing international outreach fund. This outreach fund will help meet practical needs on several fronts. The fund will assist Christian widows in South India as well as provide for necesseties at an orphanage and children's prison there. The fund will also help support a Bible College in Transylvania, Romania. We want to help invest in the building maintenance fund, sponsorships for students (room and board), and Bible based education materials. And lastly, the fund will help with one of the outreach projects that we were involved with in Edinburgh, Scotland - the Wallyford Living Room.

Our hearts desire is to equip the Body of Christ and continue on with missions projects in Scotland, India, Romania.

Scotland Missions began in January of 2003.

What is the Purpose of Scotland Missions?
Our purpose is threefold:

1. STRENGTHEN believers of the Gospel (Bible Study/Fellowship)
2. PROMOTE the furtherance of the Gospel (Preaching/Teaching)
3. GUARD the faith of the Gospel (Discernment/Apologetics)

We have been blessed with many opportunities to bring spiritual encouragement to pastors, missionaries, churches, and individuals in many places.

Can I get an online subscription to your ministry updates?
Yes! We send out periodic updates through our E-letter.

Can I schedule Chris or Jennifer to speak at my church, conference or seminar?
Chris is able to speak at churches, schools, colleges, seminaries, military bases, prisons, conferences, conventions, and crusades. Jennifer is available for women’s conferences, women’s tea’s and conventions. Opportunities like these as well as short term missions have taken Chris and Jenn to several states as well as several countries including, France, Indonesia, India, Scotland, England, Romania and the U.S.A.

If you have a particular speaking engagement or outreach (convention, church, school, college, seminary, prison, military base, hospital, radio or television interview, etc.) that you would like Chris to consider including in his U.S. or overseas itinerary, please let us know. All requests will be prayerfully considered.

How do you cover your traveling costs?
While Chris and Jenn do not set fees for speaking engagements, groups requesting their service usually provide a special love offering or an honorarium at their own discretion. In impoverished areas this is not expected at all. Our ministry is a faith ministry focused on reaching the world for Christ; so all monies received from any speaking engagements are used to fund our ministry activities.

How do you fund your ministry?
We are currently setting up the Spiritual Research Network, Inc. as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation. in the State of California.

How can I support the ministry activities of Chris and Jennifer Lawson?
All donations MUST be given through Spiritual Research Network, Inc. Please see our Support page for more info about donations.

How will my donations be used?
Our ministry is supported month to month through financial donors. We have no other source of income other than that which is sent in by our ministry friends and supporters. Appreciating the Lord’s faithfulness and our supporters’ sacrificial giving, we always strive to operate with integrity in every aspect of the ministry. Monies donated to the ministry are used in a variety of ways such as outreach, purchasing materials, vehicle maintenance and petrol, housing, food, travel, ministry expenses, airline tickets, administrative costs, literature, books, computer, etc. If you would like more information on finances and would like to speak to someone directly please contact us.
